Name: GeorgieARI#: 31185189 Birthdate: May 27, 2008 Parents: Spotsie and Toro Namesake: Georgie is named after Teresa's uncle George. She was a nosy little thing and one day Darryl called her 'Curious George' and that was how she got that name. Georgie was born on a cold, windy May day. I was watching the paddock area pretty closely, but she appeared without me ever seeing Spotsie giving birth. I brought her in the barn to towel dry her and attempted to get her warm and dry with a hair dryer, but Spotsie did not want to stay inside and Georgie was not happy until she was back outside with her Mom. So I dried her as much as she would tolerate and dressed her up in a cria coat and sent her off into the cold world. Georgie is currently living here at Hollyhock Farm. |
